So I finally finished my master's degree yesterday yay for that!!! and then was able to meet with our wedding coordinator at coral ridge presbyterian church. our meeting went well until right before the end when she tells me, oh I think you should know that all of our christmas decor will be up by the day of ur rehearsal the day before the wedding and it can't be removed or covered. when i ask to see the pics of last year...I WANTED TO DIE!!!! This church is gorgeoussss and with their xmas decor it looks like santas enchanted forest!!!! omg i cried yesterday frustrated at this disaster!!! I didn't think they would start decorating soooo soon. I already mailed save the dates and still attempted to change the date but none of my other vendors are available.
I now have to find another place to have the ceremony in the Ft Lauderdale/broward area and don't know what to do!!! =[ I'm sooo torn bc to some it may seem stupid. christms is my fav holiday but i dont want it to look like xmas on my wedding day and in all of my pics. i mean there is garland all over the altar and a huge wreath and start hanging from the beautiful organ =[
if anyone could help me with ideas i would really appreciate it!!! i think any church will have decor in december so we arent looking for that anymore. i really didnt want an outside wedding but dont know of any nice closed area to use.
