Ana Paz included in your pacakge?

Hi girls!
The cake (from Ana Paz) is included in my reception package. I went this weekend to choose a cake but what's included are only 5 designs and they are really outdated. The cake I want is very simple but modern. They are telling me that it's not included and will be about $4 per person! Is this normal? I don't understand what's included then... Help!

wow... I'm scared to go to my place and have them charge me that per person... :/

That to me does not sound reasonable.... :(  Sorry that I can't help you - GL!

Ana is included in my package as well, but I selected my own design and it was considered included.  We had a choice of bakers, but we went with Ana because of her reputation.

Here is a pic of my cake.  I am providing the ribbon for her to put on and my florist is bringing fresh flowers.

Ana is also included in my package but we went with our own cake.  You can check it out in my bio.  We did have to pay additional but it wasn't too much.

Is the upgrade you want to fondant?  Mine included Ana Paz too, but like yours it was a plain buttercream and not the look I was going for.  I think what was included was around $3/person, but the cake I wanted was about $7, so we had to pay the difference.  Assuming you're going from buttercream to fondant, it's pretty normal.

Uh, mine was included and pretty much anything they had, I gues it depends what hotel and what they offer on their package for Ana Paz. Mine included fondant.

I have been running into the same situation. I have not commited to a vendor yet, but what I am hearing is that they do go pretty simple. I am curious where you are getting married b/c what I am finding that is so frustrating is that everything varies per location and it dosent seem right. It's hard to know if you are getting ripped off or not. I agree, you have to wonder what really is included. Goodl luck.

Ana is included in our package.  You are right, the 5 choices they have that are considered included are a bit outdated.  We upgraded to a pretty intracet design, added fondant and an extra tier and it wasn't that expensive.  I think it just all depends on what type of design you want but yes, it is normal for them to charge you per person for upgrades.

Thanks girls! I guess I was just naive and thought that if it's "included", it's really INCLUDED. My venue is Bank of America Tower. I didn't think that they would offer different options for different venues...good point!

Did you get to pick your cake? I need all the info I can get! :) If possible, e-mail me at meperez2477@gmail.com. Thanks!
