table numbers

What is everyone doing for their table numbers?!?!?

I want to do something different even if I end up just putting numbers Is there a special way to put them?!?!?

I want to do baseball stadiums..like postcards as the table numbers. Im just having a hard time getting post cards. Fi is a baseball player so thats why we came up with that!

Just a thought, I watched the first episode of 4 weddings and the name on the tables didn't work as well as I thought. The brides spent (according to them) an insane amount of time trying to find their table and they even pass through it once. It makes sense if you don't have too many tables and the space is not huge. I think that wedding had like 20 tables that's why it was so confusing for them but for a small or medium wedding should work well. HTH

We are having our pictures taken of us holding up each number...and then we will frame it.

OR have it with our animals, and the wooden numbers are by them.  That would be our way of incorporating them into the picture.

For my bridal shower I had city names of all the cities we have traveled together. Everyone loved the idea. The seating chart had a small into of why we choose city names.

And old knottie had really cute pictures of her dog taken with the numbers. She kept it really classy but fun and cute at the same time!

I think I'm going to copy her and Arlyn for my bridal shower and have Jack (my dog) with places that mean something to me & Craig (Lima, Merrick Park, etc.).

DH and I picked 20 of the years between when we were born and currently and then went back and found pictures of us during those years and had frames where the top frame had the year and the bottom had a picture of us from that year.

Everyone loved them.

We only have 8 tables so we're doing City names instead of actual numbers.  We picked places that mean something to us.  Where we were born, where we met, where we went to school.  I found hi-res pictures online and changed them to black & white and added the city name. On the escort card will be the City name (as the table assignment) and a brief description of why we used it.

I'm not having assigned seating so no table cards for me but now that I read all your adorable ideas I wish I had table numbers to do..... I think everyones ideas are great dogs, cities, everything.  I watched that 4 wedding also and I'm sure city names would work if you dont have a million tables.

I'm having 13 tables and I'm thinking of giving them an actual table number along with the word "love" in different languages.
