Houston We Have A Problem!

So it's time for me to finish paying vendors and I have to lay down the BIG chunk of the venue that's left over so i write to my the family member who has committed to help us.  Turns out hes not as committed as we had thought.... I'm trying very hard not to freak out.  We found out we are likely closing on our new house next month and were warned that we will need significantly more money up front than originally expected.  So now I need to beg borrow and steal an amazing amount.  Talk about regretting everything I've chosen so far for my wedding.  We just decided to splurge on a photo booth like Yesterday!! I need to meditate.... or drink... is it 6pm yet?

my suggestion would be to cut out the extras you have put deposits on - at most, you will be losing your deposit but do not have to fork up the rest of the money.  many vendors will also be willing to return your money if they get booked during your time.  hope that helps... good luck!

Oh wow... sorry to hear that! I agree with Jen... try to cut out everything unnecessary if possible. But if you're losing a significant amount of money with the deposits, then don't cut it. How much money are we talking about??

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I agree with the previous posts though...try see if you can get your deposits back on the extras

I'm sorry! This is a huge bummer. We're afraid something like this will happen to us which is why we haven't booked anything extra at this point. I agree with PPs, and this that will be your best bet. Good luck!
