Did you have your tasting yet? Mine is tomorrow! how was it? did you get to taste everything or just a few items? I have been asking Tresha but I get no reply. Anything I should take in consideration to ask about the day of? I am worried bc they raised the prices after I booked and now I am asking how much it would be to have the ceremony inside (as a back up plan in case it rains, my ceremony is at a park nearby) and they are saying 1,000!! when i signed it was 700. Now im afraid to ask how much for an extra hour bc im sure they put that up too. I would yhink they would have to honor the prices they had when we signed..have you experienced something similar with ST?

i had my tasting on july 14th. it was really good! we chose the latin buffet menu . we got to taste everything except the horsdervs(sp??)..which i really wanted to sample. there sould be no reason to change the price if it was in the contract - when i had asked about having the ceremony outside ( way back in the day) it was $700 also..( im not doing it there now - my parents wanted a church ceremony) but ifit wasnt in the contract and it just went up then im not sure you should ask and see if they could honor the old price..an extra hour for what open bar? i heard that was $1500..i am foregoing that extra hour lol - people should be sobering up on their way out anyways not getting more trashed.

Hiii! I had my tasting on July 14^th and we tasted 2 entrees. The beef and the fish. We made some changes to the meal, like switched the fish for chicken and added vegetables to the beef plate. We also tasted their champagne (YUM!!) and we went over everything for that day. The extra hour of bar will be about $1500 like Melissa said, but it depends on the number of guests. I asked for 110 people so if you have less people it should be less. My wedding ends at 12 so stopping the bar at 11 seems a little too early for us but I’m still trying to justify that price. We asked about how the tables will be set up that day and she puts together a diagram for you. I have no clue about the ceremony being there. I had never asked for a price from the beginning—sorry! But overall, the tasting was great! The food was really good and Tresha was helpful. You’ll have a good time! Come back and let us know how it went! Dying to hear!!

Hi girls. The tasting was great. I have a modified version of the latin menu on which one item we were not too sure about so we got to try both of the things we were thying to choose from and made our decision (I did call to remind them that I wanted to try them both per our meeting months ago) we also tried the avocado shrimp salad (delicious!) the champagne, super! the risotto, vegetables and the meat. I was really happy, the food was yummy yummy and we went through the details, tables, timeline etc. Tresha was really helpful. I voiced my concerns about the ceremony (this is just in case of rain bc I have booked my ceremony outdoors somewhere else) and she said she will talk to corporate..hopefully we will not need to do that at all. About extending the bar: ST has a new policy that the events cannot go longer than 5 hours (meaning the open bar) apparently something happen with drunk people and they are cutting off alcohol after 5 hours...boo, I was really counting on that..Im really worried nc the whole thing just seems too short for me. 1 hour cocktails, another hour for dinner, first dance, speech, cake and we just have 3 hours (or less) for dancing!! im concerned..what are u girls doing? is your event 5 hours? mine is scheduled from 7-12. Im thinking if making the CH shorter so we have more dancing time. We already cut  out the mother-son/father-daughter dances, garter toss and bouquet toss..I want to party!
