my cake is from mighty fine cakes.  i love their style, their flavors (so far - i haven't done a complete cake tasting yet, but what i did try had vanilla, dulce de leche, nutella, etc.) and the perfect moistness to their cake. and to top it off, they had the best customer service, creativity, and pricing!

many people use "ana paz", "cake designs by edda", and "sweet art by lucila". they have a signature cake that is a very moist rum cake. it's good but not my favorite and my FI doesn't like it.

"divine delicacies" and "todo dulce" are very good also. with many flavors to choose from.

and i've heard great things about "we take the cake" but I have never tried them myself.

We're using We Take the Cake. They are ABSOLUTELY delicious!! We also tried Edda's and I was DEFINITELY not a fan. There flavors to US tasted fake. Almost like syrup.

Please son't do Ana Paz..her cakes are really pretty (and expensive) but they do mass production so the taste is really fake and is hit or miss. Im stuck with them for my wedding because is included in my package and they wont give me a credit if i dont use her :(

I used We Take The Cake - I love LOVELOVELOVE their cakes - I liked the taste so much I also had them do the cupcake tower for my shower! I also dont like the really wet rum cake that is very popular - it was really important for us to find a baker that made a moist tasty "cake" cake~

I loved we take the cake but found their customer service was INCREDIBLY lackluster. I had to call like fifteen times to finally get a call back from the owner, as the salesgirl I was working with was far from knowledgeable.

I also second the notion that Ana Paz looks great but taste mediocre.

Try Pretty in Pink in Pompano, they taste great and look really nice.

I'm going with Gallery of Cakes. Husband/wife team that were VERY awesome! When I went back to pay the difference (from the package deal with the country club and what I wanted), she remembered everything. (And this was 2-3 months after the fact) I tried "A Piece of Cake" (the worst customer service I've experienced). I also tried EDDA's. They were OK. Customer service was awesome though!
