So I've figured out what to get my girls. My FMIL has a really good friend who makes things that are beautiful that she's given to FMIL and FSIL (i.e. place mats, baby bag and blanket, etc). Her work is very much like Vera Bradley. (**Please note I'm not endorsing or promoting her!
) Anywho, my girls are going on the cruise after the wedding with us. I was just going to buy a tote and personalize it or something but I really wanted something extra special so I was going to commission her to make them tote bags with their favorite colors and put beach/cruise things in there: flip flops, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses (all in their fav color or style). Just asked her if she could or would do and how much it was going to cost and she said she'll do it as a wedding gift! I'm excited. I think that they are something the girls will definitely keep and use for a long time and that are very special because they are handmade especially for them. What do you girls think? Any ideas on what else I could or should include in the bags?
