January was a very busy month and I'm pretty sure today I booked our final vendor! Yayy!! Here they are:
Florist: Creations by Blanca- we clicked and she is the most affordable florist I have met with. She is providing our bamboo arch, my bouquet, bouts, corsages, 8 tall centerpieces along with 30 stems of orchids for me to do my simple centerpieces.
Officiant: Cecilia Johnson- She is very sweet and very affordable. She has already completed a rough draft of our ceremony and is very responsive.
Hair and makeup: Amanda Lynn- Amanda is doing both mine and my moms hair and makeup and whoever else in the alloted time on location. I can't wait for my makeup trial!
Ceremony music: Ty Olopai (ukulele player)- I found Ty online and we met him at Mai Kai where he plays a few nights a week. He is everything we were looking for and booked his service for an hour as guests are arriving.
Cupcakes: Humpy's Pizza... From the start we knew we wanted a cupcake tower instead of a traditional cake and I have to tell you that when I first tried their cupcakes over a year ago I knew I would be booking. Humpys is a small pizza place in the heart of Wilton Manors. Their cupcakes are AMAZING!!! We have tried every flavor
and because they are not "in the wedding industry" they are extremely afforable. Their regular cupcakes are huge, therefore their minis are pretty much regular size. If you go there tell them I sent you!
Dancefloor: Platinum Tents- Our venue is carpet and I really wanted a designated dancefloor area. I went on a mission and this place was by far the cheapest. We went with a black dancefloor but it has some gray swirls in it. The owner is very nice and was able to show me samples which I definitely appreciated.
