My brideschicks, whom I love... but are on my last nerve!, were suppose to take care of the 2 games for my shower this weekend. One tells me on Sunday that she's too busy this week, so if I could do the rest? The rest includes printing 50 words and making 2 giant bingo boards! Ok.. no problem. The other calls me yesterday that she has a really busy week and won't have time to go buy the stuff for the other game. She has cake class at Michael's today so she was busy. Never mind that she doesn't work, but... ok.. no problem. I'll get it. I'm not busy at all apparently.
As you may remember a few weeks back I was very upset that FI's brother said he couldn't come to the BS because of his car. Asked FI for money to rent one and FI said NO! Since FI's aunt and dad were coming with his brother, it would mean that all of his family would miss the shower. Only his sister is coming. So I've been trying to reach FI's brother to see what's going on and offer to pay for the rental. Nothing. I call his aunt to see if she can get a hold of him, he answers her. So he finally calls me back. Which leads me to think he's been avoiding me. (Which is exactly what we are gonna do going forward when he calls asking for money.) So I tell him I will pay for the rental. He tells me he can't rent a car because he has no credit card. WTF??? So why did he want my FI to give him money for rental?
So I call his aunt back, she says.. I'll rent the car but give the money to his brother. What? So I'm just giving him money just because? Never mind that I'm paying for everything in this wedding, now I have to give him money too? WHATEVER! Oh! And get this... apparently FI's dad is in the hospital again and might not even make the shower after all. Which is really the only reason I decided to pay for the damn rental... so FI can have his dad here. UGH!
I'm so exhausted and DONE with family!
Amazing! I bend over backwards for people and they can't make an effort my way. Whatever!
