Miami venue on a budget

Hi all -

I've been engaged for less than a week, but we're already planning, with a tentative wedding for March/April 2011. Can anyone suggest a venue in Miami/Coral Gables/Coconut Grove/Ft. Lauderdale on a budget? We're looking for an all-inclusive location (we can bring in the DJ/florist/photographer) for around $5,000? We want an outdoor event, so I've inquired at The Palms Hotel (if they can bring down the price), the Rusty Pelican and a few others.

Try the Mayfair hotel in the grove. They are very willing to work with smaller budgets.

Iam doing a lunch at the rusty pelican, modifing the brunch package so it is only $44 a person.

I would also recommend the Rusty Pelican.

Funny you say that because I was JUST e-mailing them back. They seem very open to customizing a package to fit my budget. Several other places were telling me to book a ballroom was a guest minimum of 100 and a food and beverage minimum of more than $10,000. WAY over my budget!

Try venetian pool or palmetto bay center (i think thats what its called) <-- both locations do not include ANYTHING its just a venue.
