Okay. What are you ladies doing for your FI's for Christmas?

I know we're broke, and I want to do something nice. We're both working all day Christmas, but will have a nice (quiet) dinner together when we're home without our families because we can't get home to them. It's our first year with our own tree and our own stockings and all that cute Christmas good-ness.

For him/us - we are going to Disney next weekend. We are hitting up Magic Kingdom and Seaworld and going to a character breakfast buffet. 

On actual Christmas, we are doing eve with my family and day with his (ugh). Lol.

Well my FI has been wanting to new playstation 3 I know he still loves his game systems lol. So I bought him that.

Otherwise we are doing Christmas eve at his parents house and then we are all going to my mom's house Christmas day!

Well I don't know yet where we will be spending Christmas. 

As far as gifts, I got him a new radio for his boat.  Usually if we are at his parents they do Noche Buena which I love.

We are putting up our tree this weekend, etc.

ooh. Jeff wants a PS3. but i has no moneys. i was thinking about talking to his parents about splitting it with me.

and disney sounds fun! maybe i could find somewhere for us to go together.

i wish we didn't have to work so that we could see our families.

Lacey-I got my fi a PS3 too...maxed out my cc. As for Christmas, Im not sure what we are doing. Were supposed to go to his parents but now my favorite football team may be playing in a bowl game the day after so that means I will be in the bowl city and he will be with his parents.

sigh. no idea. I bought him a few small things, dvd, new jeans, but no idea what his main gift should be. it's kinda hard to top last year when he proposed.

aww alissa lol that's about where i am, i have a dvd he wanted, but his birthday was JUST at the end of September and I forgot to think about Christmas.

I told him (and everyone else I know) that I don't want to exchange gifts this year. With all the expense of the wedding I don't think it's necessary. Plus we'll be getting lots of gifts for the wedding.

BUT he did send me links the other day to some starwars stuff he likes so I dont' know if that was a hint (probably) so I may order him a few small things.. but nothing big.

I want to get an Iphone if they go onsale. Even if they don't. I NEED ONE!

Jeff has more money coming in than me this year, so i told him i want the new verizon droid. he gets lots of disability money from the Navy. and i don't get any of that, and it goes into a bank account of his that i can't get into lol. so we'll see. maybe we'll both get new phones!

and jeff won't give me any hints but no one else in my family is really exchanging gifts. partly because i won't be there and partly because of the wedding and we're all broke.

I have no idea yet...we usually just go to my both our family's houses in one night...I hate it! We are always going in 3 different directions on the holidays.

I am with you Jaime... with the wedding we are not doing gifts... we can't expense it on top of everything else and it isn't necessary. To tell you the truth, maybe this sounds weird, but we don't ever buy each other gifts. Instead we save toward a vacation like a cruise, etc.

I want an iphone too!!  I agree with Jaime though, I don't really want to do gifts this year, but I already bought him the cd player, but that is all I am getting him most likely.

I feel bad though not getting other people gifts though like my sis and bro and his sis and the parents.  Ugh, must find something cheap.

i have a couple little things for my younger siblings who really don't understand "being broke this year" lol which is fine, i shop early and spread it out so i can budget, but Jeff is hard to buy for lol, and i don't want to get him nothing

FI & I both agreed not to exchange gifts this year, but I would like to give him something small. I have no idea what to get him though.

As far as X - Mas is concerned, my family and I usually spend it with his family on the 24th, and we do the 25th at my house.

We usually spend xmas with Fi's mom/family. This year I'm getting him his OWN gym membership, which he will be totally stoked about! Right now, he can only go to the gym with me as a guest, but he's been bugging me to get him his own so he can go whenever. I also bought him a pair of Margaritaville flip flops. He tried them on at DSW the other day and was in love.. but I told him NO! So I secretly bought them for him the next day.

We told everyone else no gifts this year - except all my nieces and nephews (who are getting their flowergirl/ringbearer dresses/tuxes and a book as a gift!) that we are not exchanging!

Hannukah is NEXT WEEK and I haven't even gotten candles yet. I was thinking of cooking his fave dish...

I just ordered the stuff on amazon, he is easy to buy for I am the hard one. He has a terrible memory so he tells me stuff he wants and is still surprised when he opens it.

I got him a playstation for his birthday, and he wanted the bluetooth headset for it ( I don't know why, but if it is what he wants).

I also got him this thing called a chillow, you put it in your pillow case and it keeps the pillow cold. He had one before but it got lost when he moved like 3 years ago.

I don't know what we are doing yet, aside from Christmas morning at my mom's with my neices. It is our first year having a tree too, and my first real tree ever. It makes me happy every time I walk by it.
