I'll be honest....I can't stand the song FI and his Mom are going to dance to on the wedding day...it's Song For Mama by Boyz 2 Men....His older Brother and Mom danced to it like ten years ago so FI thinks its a nice tradition for he and his Mom to dance to it too...It's so sappy and I really can't stand it! Not to mention its a super long song- almost 4.5min...I secretly asked the DJ to shorten it....I'm so terrible!!!! lol

I was originally trying to keep the wedding somewhat small, around 50-60 people.  Looks like it's going to be more like 70-80...my FI is going to think I'm crazy!

our guest list was supposed to be 80 -85 max ... were at 92 if every one shows ... I'm hoping 10 -12 people can't make it I've already cut people every way I can ... I'm also nervous about standing up in front of every one reading our written vows (FI's idea)

I know the feeling...we are reading our own vows as well and I am pretty nervous about it. Every time I think about it my heart starts to race....I have to get started on writing mine!

Guys what do you think of this for a bridesmaid dress? The green is matching my colours but at first I was just thinking "uhhh white!! No white." But does it really matter?

I don't really have a confession this week but Katie maybe you could limit it to 1 minute and a half. We're not dancing to our full songs, we cut all of them to a minute and a half so that ppl arent watching us dance forever lol. And Ladies, we want 100 ppl at our wedding...we invited 140.. I'm hoping 40 people get either the flu or the runs and can't make it LOL!!

Katie, we too are shorting the Mother/Son dance because it's over 4 minutes! Our DJ is working on that and I think I will ask him to do the same for mine (it's 3 minutes long).

I'll admit that I also had this same feeling too and wasn't budging on inviting them. My parents respected my decision and so did FI until he decided to add his two cents in, lol. He advised me to be the bigger person and go ahead and invite them which I did. If they come fine and if they don't its fine as well. I know some won't attend because the wedding had to pushed to a Friday.
