Hello everyone...

I am a Newbie and wanted to say hello.  I have been following you all for some time and I LOVE sooo many of your wonderful ideas.  You all have been so much help with all of your wonderful suggestions and ideas!!!

I tried posting once a while ago on another board and got some angry and rude responses.  So it sort of kept me away for a while. But I have never seen anything that was unfriendly here and I  am hoping to be able to take part in your wonderful world here and be just as helpful to someone one day as you all have been to me!!

    The girls on here are all great!  The moderators make sure everyone keeps it friendly, and at the end of the day we're all in the same situation and stresses with planning a wedding and having honest but tactful opinions or posts has helped me with a lot of planning.  Welcome to the board!

    Thank you all soo much!!!  I am definitely an addict... I have to watch myself b/c I get all obsessed while at work and never get anything done!!!

    About our day so far:
    I have really had no interest in planning. Hahaha!! (I love looking and reading but NO plans set yet) I have a really tight budget as I am sure that sooo many do and I just really can't get into the planning process.. So many people thought I would be such a BRIDEZILLA!  But I am not to the other extreme where it is creeping up  quickly and I have nothing but the hall and dress!! ( and really wouldn't have that if it wasn't for my BF and SIS) lol  so I have finally decided to get off my butt and work on this some.  I am going for a simple outdoor feeling.  My sister explained it perfectly with "Alabama summer night" (sounds weird when i say it)  I don't want cheesy redneck or yeehaw country.  But just simple fireflies, lemonade, sweet tea, lanterns, down home comfy. (if that makes sense)

    I have rented the Jupiter Civic center and think it will reflect the feel we want perfectly.

    100 guest.. Which is SUPER hard when we both have that in family alone!!

    My Dress is an amazing Sophia Tolli.. That I got for an absolutely incredible price!!!

    Welcome Missy and congrats!!! I agree, your theme is awesome! Love it!! You can do so much with that. I'm sure it will be great!

    And yes, the girls on here ROCK! I, too, was on another board and got nothing but rude, negative comments. Nothing like that here, only great advice, awesome suggestions, powerful vibes when you need them (they WORK!) and the friendliest bunch of girls I've seen in a while.
