So I was wondering....what does everyone plan on serving their guests?

Are you having a caterer or a buffet?

What have you picked as your dishes?

Garden Salad
Insalata Caprese
Steamed veggies
Chicken vesuvio
Tri color tortellini with red pepper cream sauce
Dinner rolls

Do you have signature cocktail? Or maybe just beer or wine

Beer, wine and two signature cocktails called "White wedding" (Which we thought oddly appropriate given the all black attire lol) and "Black Tie"

White Wedding

2 oz. vodka
1 oz. vanilla simple syrup
1 oz. cream
2 oz. soda

 

Black Tie

1 oz. cherry brandy
1 oz.  vodka
2 oz. cranberry juice
2 oz.  coke

Are you having a caterer or a buffet?

We'll be getting bbq catered for the after ceremony meal, for the small amount of guests invited to the ceremony.
Then our families are making things for our h'ors doerves/dessert bar reception with double the guest list of the ceremony

What have you picked as your dishes?
 For the after ceremony meal;
Choice of BBQ brisket, chicken, and pork sandwiches
Cheesy Potatoes
Calico beans

For the reception;
Hot ham sandwiches, chips, veggies, maybe some cold pastas and dips etc.
and we'll have a dessert bar with every dessert you can imagine
and then cake of course

Not many of our guests drink, (despite living in Wisconsin haha) so we're just having a couple of half barrels of beer, free soda for everyone and if the guests want something besides that they can buy something from the bar (it doesn't pay for us to have open bar since none of our friends drink, so we didn't even consider it)
