Farmstead/Barns Veneus

Does anyone know of barns/farmsteads/country B&B's that are not too expesive to rent for a day? I know about the Botzum Farmstead by Akron, Ohio but we have found that it is too expensive for us. Any ideas?

Thank you,
Ally

Re: Farmstead/Barns Veneus

 • what's your budget? Quailcrest farm in wooster isn't badly priced compared to other barn/farms. http://www.quailcrest.com/events.htm
 • I second Quailcrest..my friend got married there 2 years ago and it was beautiful. Also in Wooster, check out Ramseyer Farms http://ramseyerfarms.com/. Went for a catering tasting there before someones wedding and it was also beautiful
 • Thank you! I'll take a look. :-)
 • Goodyear barn in Brunswick. Heritage barn in Stow. Crown Point Ecology Center in Bath.

 •
We looked at farm venues too but decided to go with a more general rustic theme after checking out the Vermilion-on-the-Lake Historic Community Center (here are some wedding photos I found online from that venue: http://www.dougtreiber.com/ivan-and-brittany-wedding-in-vermilion-oh/). It's reasonably-priced to rent, big enough for up to 275 people, and has the most gorgeous view of the lake I've seen (it has a full panoramic view in the cocktail area)! You can bring your own catering and alcohol, which gives some nice flexibility.
