Today's Topic: Alcohol

Are you having alcohol at your wedding? If so, are you doing a full bar? Beer and wine only? Signature cockatails? If so, what? Anything that you aren't having that you wish you could? Or vice versa?

We did think for a while about doing a signature cocktail since we're having a small crowd but then we thought we'd just supply the wine to have with the dinner as well as some liquor. This sounds tacky but since everyone just thinks it's a halloween party they'll be bringing their own stuff. We could tell them we'd be suppling beer but they'd just bring their own anyway. Our friends are like that.

We just looked over our catering contract today, and with all the no's we're getting, it looks like we'll be able to upgrade our beer and wine only to a full on bar with liquor. Slightly excited about that. Not sure we're going to do a signature cocktail. I don't feel like being that creative.

We are having a full bar. FI wanted to go consumption, but considering some of the people we invited, that would not be a good idea at all. Sometimes I wish more people were coming, but then again it's saving us a ton of money to only have 12 people.

We're probably purchasing cases of wine and lot's of beer. Unless, that is, we end up with a caterer that has a great package with the alcohol included. We were planning on having a fancy-schmancy potluck, and our friends and family bring a specialty dish.

We are having a full bar. I thought about doing signature drinks, but I am running out of time. If by some miracle I get a ton of stuff done in the next two weeks, then maybe. But I doubt it. I wish that I could have a punch bowl with a smoking witches brew. That would be fun. Oh well, at least there will always be more Halloweens! LOL!
