We're finally putting down the deposit on our reception venue! I definitely didn't think it would be this difficult to come up with $500 at once, but we're in the process of buying a house and the fees that come with that are ridiculous, and this morning FI had to run our dog to an emergency vet appointment. So I really didn't think we'd be able to do it today after all. It turns out Buddy has the Kennel Cough (which is weird since he's never around other pets) and he should be fine in 10 days with the $160 meds he got. After all of that, we have just enough money leftover to pay for the venue, we'll just be broke until next week, but we really need to get our date reserved!
I'm excited to talk to the event planner and look at the hall!
