NWR: looking for ideas to celebrate anniversary

Even though my FI and I are engaged we are still going to celebrate our anniversary in January like we also do. Any good suggestions around here.

We were thinking about doing Salving but i dont know about it now.

We used to just do a fancy restaurant and drinks - Providence is one of my faves. You could do a couples massage earlier in the day as well.

For our first wedding anniversary we considered staycationing at a hotel - maybe the London West Hollywood.

You could also go to San Diego, Palm Springs, a B&B near one of the national parks, wine tasting in Temecula...

Solvang is great.  Or, at least, all the wineries in the Solvang area are great.  If you are looking for a delicious restaurant up there, I strongly suggest The Hitching Post in Beulton.  It is a Santa Barbara-style steak house with its own line of absolutely delicious wines.

Solvang is great! Took DH for his birthday a few years ago. We ended up at a small tasting room where we had some really good wines: www.presidiowinery.com/

Saw The Hitching Post, but we heard someone at the tasting room talking about Brother's Tavern. (www.matteistavern.com/) They booked looked interesting, but we ended up at Brother's. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one.
