NWR: Couch

Hi ladies,

I don't usually post here because even though I live in LA, I am getting married in NJ.  However, I am looking for a new couch.  Other than Ikea, any suggestions on where I can get a (somewhat) inexpensive couch that is still decent quality?  Preferably in the Valley.  TIA!

P.S.  I asked a few months ago about bridal salons and want to give a big THANK YOU to the ladies that suggested Pebbles.  I had a great time there, and found my dress!!!!

    We had a couch from Al's Discount store in North Hollywood.  It lasted for a long time and their prices are pretty reasonable.

    I really like the couches at Urban Home. I know there is one in Westlake Village but I am not sure if there are any closer to LA. There is also this furniture Auction in Agoura Hills, my friend got an amazing couch for under $800. But I am sure they have furniture auction places all over LA. HTH!

    Oh yeah, there's an Urban Home at the Sherman Oaks Galleria.  They have some good couches there.

    We actually got an awesome bookcase from Urban Home!  Both our parents chipped in to get it for us for Chanukah last year.

    Almost all of the furniture in my house is from Simply Discount Furniture.  If they don't have something you're looking for in the store, they can order it from basically any catalog.  THeir prices were way lower than the cheapest I could find online!
