What salon to use?

My wedding is July 9, 2011. I have a few questions! First is how far in advance should I book my appointment with a salon for hair & make-up? Second, does anyone have any recommendations on where to go? My ceremony is taking place in Amherst, Ohio so I'd prefer to stay reasonably close.

    It depends how busy the salon (and the particular stylist) that you choose happens to be. I called to make my appt. for the big day AND my trial (a month before the wedding) about 2 months before my wedding date, IIRC. Sorry, I don't have recs for Amherst. Hopfully someone will!

    headquarters is in lorain, but right off 90 (or is it 2 out there?) and close to amherst.  i haven't been there in a few years (got my hair done for prom, etc. in high school), but it's a nice salon.  check it out!
