MOB and MOG dresses

Hi ladies,

My parents are coming up today for a short visit. FMIL lives in the same city as FI and I and would like to go shopping with me and my mom if I'm feeling up to it tomorrow evening.  They ( the moms) seem to think that they need to "match" one another.. and that the dads should match one another (not necessarily the same exact shirt and tie but similar) I think they're nutso, lol..
Anyways if you have pics of what the moms are wearing for your wedding.. please post!

Haha I think that's adorable!!!

No pictures, but my mom will have a chocolate floor length dress and FMIL will have a black dress with red shoes. Not very matchy.

My dad will have a black tux with salmon pink vest (yuck, but he looovveess the color). FFIL hasn't decided, but may buy a suit.

Obviously they're not going to match.

I don't have pictures but I can be descriptive! No one is matching btw.

MOB: it's actually a BM dress but all the MOB dresses we found were awful. It's chiffon, yellow, tea length, rushing (spelling??) along the bust, with a modified sweetheart neckline and straps.

My stepmom: knee length blue/purply/iridescent dress with small cap sleeves almost and ruffles.

MOG: no freaking clue. See related FMIL post below to understand why.

Justin's stepmom: no idea but she asked me what colors to avoid (I told her the WP colors), and that's it. I'm not worried about what she picks.

I have no idea what my FMIL is wearing.  I think it is purple and chiffon though.

Oh that sounds like a fun day!

My moms (we have three) are not all matching but i do think they coordinate with one another.  It wasnt done on purpose however.  And our dads are wearing tuxes so they will match.

FSMIL- So when she has her fitting she is having them fit it so it is not as tight as the model is.



FMIL- This is what we found saturday and we both liked it BUT she didnt try on or buy so no idea what her plan is

Oh, Colleen, I think your mom's is really nice!

I don't have pictures either, but my mom and FMIL both decided to wear blue, but different shades. My mom's is solid blue... almost navy but not quite as dark. It's long and has a jacket with it. FMIL's is kind of mermaid cut. It's blue and green flower print. They're both pretty nice, overall. They wanted to coordinate as in not clash, rather than straight up match.

I don't have pics but my mom is wearing a floor legnth royal blue taffeta dress with a sash. FMIL got her dress on her own but decided to go with a light blue teal legnth chiffon dress. I don't think they need to match exactly but they wanted to "coordinate". FFIL and my step dad are both wearing tuxes.

My mom is wearing a long navy blue, sparkly, evening gown she got on sale from JCPenney.  My FMIL has yet to find a dress... she'll probably end up settling on something last-minute.  She's worried about matching everyone, too, which I already told her not to worry about.

We told my FFIL that he has to wear a white tux with a top hat and I seriously thinks he believes us (his tux is black with a silver vest in reality).

I do not have a picture...but she is wearing a floor length dress that is all beaded & lacey at the top & then flowy chiffon on the bottom...the flowy chiffon is also her little jacket that will be 3/4 length sleeves (Because she doesn't like to show her arms...)  It is in a pretty periwinkleish color

I have no idea what our moms are wearing.  I am also not being picky about it because I know they will wear something great.  I trust both of them.
