Last-minute officiant recommendation?

Hello ladies!

I really need your help. It's 25 days before our wedding and we just found out our good friend who was going to be the officiant is not going to be able to attend the wedding. We need to find someone to marry us immediately! There seem to be dozens of non-denominational officiants in the area, but a starting point would be great. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, also, how much will this cost? Clearly, this wasn't built into our budget at all, so I'm pretty scared about that as well.

    No idea on price because our officiant 'came with' our venue. FWIW, in that situation, the officiant fee was $150. This was a few years ago though.

    As for officants you might contact, try Nora with Uniting Hearts. Friends of mine have used her and liked her very much. I have no idea of her short term availability, but worth calling. Also, Uniting Hearts has at least one other officiant on staff (I think 2 though). Good luck!

    You can expect to pay between about $150-300 for officiant services in this area.  We've booked Nora from Uniting Hearts as well and she has been a pleasure to work with so far.  I also have no idea about her short term availability but it's worth a shot.  We had another officiant lined up before Nora but it fell through and Nora came to the rescue!  I would just google Ohio Wedding Officiants and see what you come up with.  There's also a section here on TK about vendors and you may be able to find some there.
