Yes our reception will also be there.  I work with Christina and Maria.  They have been fast in responding to my questions/emails.  I already booked them.  Now I'm looking for a rehearsal dinner venue.Claire

    Cool.I have gotten e-mails thru Christina, but have only really talked to Maria. I love her she is super nice. I'm super excited to get married there. Have you gone to do the food tasking. the food is to die for mmmmm....What are your colors?We are also looking for a rehearsal dinner place too. let me know if you find anything. Also where are you staying to get ready and everything? We are thinking of Kyoto Hotel and Gardens, but I don't know yet.

    Yup we've done the tasting even before we confirmed the date :-).  As I said, I'm planning this all the way from TX so whatever works when I'm there I just go ahead and do it.  We are doing our weekend seminar in Santa Barbara next month since I have a few days off.  My FMIL is planning the rehearsal dinner and her suggestion is Marriott but we are having second thoughts because of the $10 parking fee.  I'm thinking of going with either Biltmore or Marriott for the preparation/getting ready.  I haven't been to either place, I'm just basing it on the pictures on their website.  If I have time next month, I might pass by just to look at those places.  You have any thoughts on either place?Claire

    By the way I'm still torn between - apple red/rose petal pink/lilac or red/orange/yellow.  You?

    That's awsome wasn't there food amazing. Wow you are on top of things. I've kinda put things on hold cause we are right in the middle of buying our house and are in escrow(1 reason why we decided to change to a friday) so I really haven't been able to scoup things out yet.Please let me know how your retreat is. I'm sooo excited to go to ours. We will have to go to another type since we are already married, but we can't wait to finally get alone time just for us away from the kids.next month once we finally get the house I will be on top of the wedding planning. So I will be going down to L.A. alot ( I live in lancaster about an hour away from the Cathedral )So if I scoup out anything I will make sure to pass it along to you. My colors Burnt orange, brown and champagne. People keep telling me that I'm going the fall rought and yes they are the colors, but DH and I just love those colors. If you see our house we have those same colors in our house. And we are not using any pumpkins or leaves. I don't want it to look fallish more romantic if you say.Okay I'm soooo ranting. I can't wait to see your wedding and if I find anything I will be sure to share with you.Genie
