Memories Dinner and Dancing

Hey ladies! I usually post on the IE board because I live out in the Ontario area but we stumbled accross a place online called Memories Dinner and Dancing in Whittier so I thought you might have some input.  I've never been there but the price seems right, the pictures look good, and we're going to see it on Monday.

I was wondering if anyones been there, or heard of it, and what you thought of it? or what your experience there was like? TIA.

    i went to whittier college and we had a pre-homecoming party there one year. i remember it being pretty small, but it's in the uptown area which is usually pretty nice. my dad had his wedding reception just a block away at Fiesta (?). that place is large and has been recently upgraded. good luck!

    My FI, FFIL and I went to check out Memories in Whittier....it was not what we were expecting. It is an old building, and the owners apparently don't want to update things there (NO ELEVATOR, only 2 stalls for Men's room). FI & FFIL saw the kitchen while I was talking to owner and they said it was really gross.

    I would recommend the Fiesta hall a couple of blocks away. It's nice and has adequate space. If I remember correctly, they only charge for food & (non-alcoholic) drinks rather than a set fee for using the hall. So depending on how many people you're looking to entertain, it might not be too expensive.
