Need reviews! Sportsmen's Lodge and Wood Ranch Golf Course

Hi all!

My fiance and I have narrowed down our ceremony and reception choices to two locations: Sportsmen's Lodge, in Studio City, and Wood Ranch Golf Course, in Simi Valley.  If you have hosted or attended a wedding at either of these two locations, could you give me some feedback as to your experiences?

Specifically, how was the food, how were the people, and other comments (good and bad).  For Sportsmen's Lodge, we're also wondering how it is to share such close quarters with other concurrent weddings?  Were there mishaps, did people feel caged in, or did it run smoothly?

    While I haven't been to a wedding at Sportsman's Lodge, I've been there for brunch and dinner, and the food is tasty.

    I have done a few events at the Sportsmen's Lodge and their food is really good. The room with all the windows overlooking the outside with flowers and water is really nice especially as the sun sets or is dark out. The outside gazebo for the ceremony is really quiet and a lot of room to hold guests. Great place with plenty of parking and if your guests are from out of town there is their hotel right next door.
