venue HELP!!

Hi Ladies :)
i really need some help finding a venue for our reception. we're going to have 50 guests and my dad said he'd pay 30 a plate per person. we're paying for the rest of it ourselves.any ideas?

    Hi Christal - I recently went to Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City and they had the most budget-friendly food & beverage minimums I've come across so far.

    I think Las Posas County Club in Camarillo has prices around that range.

    I''m using Eden Garden Bar & Grill in Old Town Pasadena for about that much (not including alcohol...there's the rub.). Very lovely people to work with & great indoor/outdoor space. Food is Mediterranean family style & delicious.

    thanks for the suggestions :) I'm in the South Bay so I don't want the venue too far away. I've been looking into the Long Beach area
