Santa Barbara, CA

I am planning my wedding in Santa Barbara, and there is no specific board for that area.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to vendors to look out for out there?

I am looking for a DJ, Bakery, Florist and the other basics.
Don't need a caterer, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have any suggestions for you but there was a knottie on here a while ago that did get married up there and her wedding was gorgeous.  Her name was kcliveoutloud.  Not sure if she comes on here anymore she may lurk though and you could try paging her or maybe see if she is on the The Nest boards. GL!

You can also try paging BostontoLA.  She had her wedding at the Canary Hotel.

I was married in Carpinteria.  We didn't have a DJ.  Loved our florist, Camille with Modern Day Design, and our cake made by Christine Dahl.  I'm not on here much but you can email me for other recommendations or with questions at rincon777 at yahoo.

I got married at the Biltmore(4 seasons SB). All my vendor review's are in my bio and all of them were amazing! I used Soul from AMS Entertainment for our DJ, the company and Soul were fantastic, also reasonably priced for SB. My florist was Armando with Alegria, he was a total artist but very pricey. You can e-mail me if you want to: knottie name at aol dot com. Good luck planning!!!

I'm was also married in Santa Barbara at the Fess Parker Doubletree.  I believe I have vendor reviews in my bio but just in case we loved our cake from Montecito Confections and our florist, Juniper Designs!  Juniper was the only florist on the coast that was willing to create my vision for the budget that I had and everything came out exactly like we had hoped plus she was so fun to work with!  We loved her work so much, we have used her for flowers since the wedding.  Katie Scott at Montecito Confections was also fun to work with and is amazing at what she does.  Her cake was amazing and beautiful!  We got compliment after compliment on how good it was.  We didn't use a DJ - we opted for an Ipod reception so I can't help you there but we love Goodbeat Productions and were going to book with him before deciding on the Ipod reception.  You can e-mail me at Mrs.btobe@yahoo.com if you have any questions! :)  Good luck with your planning!

I am planning my wedding in Santa Barbara too, and while I don't have any vendor suggestions yet, I will keep you posted when I do.  I have noticed that there are posts about SB in both the Central California board and Los Angeles, so that might be something to keep in mind.

I got married in SB. I used a lot of LA vendors and just paid the travel charge. Most times it ended up costing less that route than hiring someone in SB.

We did have Montecito Confections do our cake and OMG it was delish!

I got married in SB.  I have reviews of vendors on my bio page.  I highly recommend the DJ, florist, and baker that we used.  Let me know if you have any questions!
