Budget friendly Caterers??

We're starting to look around for catering companies for our wedding, but they all seem outrageous. Has anyone had any luck with an affordable company? We're open to a buffet or seated dinner. thanks!

I'm using Summit Events.  Pam - the Wedding Coordinator - has been great and I was blown away at how low their prices were.  They are now a featured vendor on TK too.  We haven't done our tasting with them yet but so far everything has been fabulous.

Try Thanks Goodness It's Sofia catering. I ended up not needing a separate caterer, but during my research her prices were one of the best. They just became a "best of wedding" vendor on the Knot, too

    Hi,

We were seeking the same and I posted an ad on Craigslist and received a lot of responses.  The caterer we decided upon Custom Caterers is very flexible with pricing - includes his own plates and silverware in the price - and has AMAZING food.  We're actually struggling with finding a venue and people have suggested us dropping our caterer to help us and we just won't do it because we like him (richard is the owner's name).  His website is www.customcaterers.com and his email is richard@customcaterers.com.

    Good luck! :)

Michael C Events.  very tasty and affordable.  Works with my coordinator often and she referred him to me.  His food was super tasty.

I'm not sure where you're located, but you might want to check out Command Performance Catering or Green Acres (it's in Simi, but they travel)

Check out www.conceptcateringbyck.com - they are SD based, but has kitchens all over California. They prices begin at $35 pp and open bar at $8 a person. All their menus are organic and sustainable as well. Happy planning!
