I know! I'm a dumbass! After I wrote you, I thought, it's Tomie, not Tommy, err!! I'm great!! Same guy as the one I was with when I was at Sony, Gary! We've been together for 4 1/2 years. We got engaged last September on our 4 year anniversary! So the planning has been pretty fun!! Our day is July 24th!! Getting close!!! And Heather.... is ALSO ENGAGED!!! Her wedding is 5 weeks after mine, August 28th!!! She's known her guy for... 3 years?!? But he's such a great balance for her, he's very mellow and low key and she's still pretty hyper. They live in Portland, OR and Gary and I are living in Redondo Beach. I remember you lived in Long Beach, that is where I'm working right now! And YOU!! I think I saw a pic from high school, same guy??? He's a cutie! And did I read right, you had a baby????

Our date is 10-10-10...we will have been together for 10 years and 10 months so the date fits us perfectly!

Planning has been stressful for me but it seems like it is getting better...I cant believe Saturday will be the 6 month mark.

I actually met Ty right after high school...I graduated June 99 and we met August 99...the picture below is the high school picture...with my uniform...

Ty proposed on Valentines Day last year...we didnt set a date until the summer and then the planning began...

Lot's of 10 action!!! Wow!!! Well that is insane!! And CONGRATS!!! Big year!!!!! Yes the planning, ah yes. The most stress for me has been the dress drama, uninvited family, people willing to help out but then drag their feet, etc. But I would have to say the good outweighs the bad... so far. I starting posting on the knot in September, a few weeks after becoming engaged. I come around the boards when I need advise or have questions, and when I have time at work. But I still sneak on. But I am so impressed at how awesome the girls on here are. People post pretty fast on anything and it's so helpful!! How often do you get 100% support from complete strangers?!? I bet your daughter is a beauty!!! Those Sony men better have hands off you!! How is Tomie?? I think about him time to time. He was the most laid back boss I have ever had, and I appreciated him for that. All my supervisors since (3) have been crazy or stupid, seriously! My current is a total nut job, she should be institutionalized. The one before that, stupid, not just stupid, but stooopid. Tell Tomie I said hi and I miss all you girls!! Is anyone else still there? Lupe or Clair? I heard some crazy drama went down at Sony, with Irwin and Merilee. I hope everyone is okay. Where are you getting married? What type of wedding? We're getting married at Calamigos Ranch, a garden wedding, we're thinking around 85 people. We only have about 3 1/2 months left, and we have an engagement shoot this weekend. Very excited!!! Now that we know each other is on here, we can bounce ideas off each other! I always have questions and am online as soon as I get a chance to research.

The most drama for me is the fact that I am too indecisive and want everything perfect when that does NOT exist...

I started posting in October when I really started to realize I needed to get into planning mode.

Oh, the ladies here are AMAZING!!! And what is even better is that they do not judge you whatsoever!!!

Yeah, indecisiveness, me too. When it's crunch time though... I think I've switched my decoration ideas around a few times already but do have an idea I might stick with... for centerpeices anyway. What are your colors? Our are Robin's Egg blue and white, then accent colors of fuchsia and eggplant. We're taking our engagement shots in Venice, on Abbott Kinney and I think ending at the beach. Our photographer is Ion Hartunian! We're really excited about him. Heather is not on the knot. Her wedding will be super small, only immediate family up in Astoria, OR, where Goonies was filmed. Her's won't be formal, more casual and intimate. Tell everyone I said hi!! How could I forget Elizabeth!!! Does she still argue with Tomie and Tomie makes fun of her back? They were good entertainers! Do you have a wedding website? Ours is...

Sorry for late response, been crazy!! I nervously dropped my dress for alterations Wednesday. Thursday, we picked up invitations and RSVP kits, Heather designed our invites and RSVP's so now we're going to print ourselves, shape the edges, glue to more cardstock and hopefully save a lot of money. Then this past weekend, had our engagement shoot!! Super fun!! Then we did Gary's tux yesterday, so I hardly opened my computer since last week. If you haven't found this site yet and will be doing a lot of DIY stuff, this site has a ton of things... saveoncrafts.com. I love them! I have yet to order but I have a ton of stuff I will be ordering from them!!
