Name of you and your FI/DH: Janeen and Wes
    Date: May 24, 2009
Location: Sweetwater Branch Inn (Gainesville, FL)
    Colors/Theme: Pink and green
One detail you're most excited to see: I couldn't wait to see my flowers.  I really didn't have much input.  I just told my florist my budget and what my favorite flowers were and she made it happen.
What vendor rec do you need/ who would you recommend: Since I was married in FL, I don't have many LA recs but I highly recommend Reene as a seamstress.  She's amazing and very reasonably priced.
Also, if you're looking at purchasing a dress online, I recommend Jay's Bridal.  They are located in the town I was married in but I ordered online and saved a couple hundred dollars.  I had free shipping, no tax, and also received a free veil.

Colors/Theme: white, black, chartreuse and turquoise

One detail you're most excited to see: My birdcage veil and flower hair piece.

What vendor rec do you need/ who would you recommend: My vendors were mostly from Santa Barbara (if you need recs for that area, check my planning bio or contact me.)
Recommended vendors in the LA area-

PHOTOGRAPHER- (I didn't use him for wedding pics because he was a guest in the wedding, but he's taken pics for our family and my baby)- Kenny Selko.  selkophotography.com  He is great and reasonably priced.

HAIR AND MAKEUP- Keyonna Tillman from Capella Salon in Studio City (she traveled to my wedding in SB) I couldn't be happier with her!  She cuts and colors my hair too.

CATERING- GourMel Catering and Event Planning
I've been to several events and parties that Mel has catered for.  I'm not sure of her prices, but the food is amazing and Mel is so nice!

Name of you and your FI/DH: Meredith and Oliver

    Date: October 10, 2010

Colors/Theme: Fallish... stuff. Red, brown, orange

One detail you're most excited to see: I'm most excited for how our off-site pictures will turn out! I also can't wait to see the flowers and the rolls royce limo. Also getting my envelopes back from my calligrapher next week. Can't wait!

What vendor rec do you need/ who would you recommend: I LOVE my photographer, Kristine Ambrose. She does a lot of weddings, but also a lot of fine art photographer, band shoots and charity work. I really like vendors that aren't exclusively weddings, but still have a lot of wedding experience. I definitely trust them! Kristine has been really good about meeting with us and planning things. She was very excited about our vision. And her photographer is very original and beautiful.

Other than that, I'm still in the market for flowers (but pretty sure I have good leads), and hair and makeup.

    - My photographer, Hazlenut Photography- she did my boudoir pics and they are fabulous, and she has been so easy to work with.
    - My DOC Paola at Just Chic Events has been a lifesaver- her timeline is so detailed and incredible, and she has kept on top of everything. I know she will be wonderful on the day of.
    - My hair/ MUA-  Leah of Long Lasting Impressions- I had my hair and MU trial  and LOVED how she did both, so I would recommend her, even though she hasn't done my actual wedding day yet.
    - My calligrapher, Calligraphy Katrina. My envelopes looked fabulous and I got SO many comments about them. She has such a quick turnover time, and zero mistakes!
    - My graphic artist who designed all my paper products, invitations, etc- Melody at emDOTzee Designs. I LOVE everything. She isn't local but does everything via email (sends proofs, etc). Prices are very reasonable.
    - Reene for alterations- just got my dress back, and it's perfect, and it cost only around $100.
