I didn't know if I should ask the question in the previous post or create a new...so I thought create a new one.

I really felt it! I loved it...do you think I should still look around? I have 2 more appts I've set up...

Also Alfred Angelo said if I ordered the dress it would arrive till August...scary since the wedding is in Sept! ( I would need alterations and I want a corset back put in) So I thought but the floor sample...I don't have a problem with it. Time and well the whole thing I would walkout with a dress!

Here is the deal the dress $1400...she claimed it was on sale for $300 off and since I would buy the floor sample she would ONLY knock $50 (which I thought was lame) so do you think looking elsewhere for the dress? Or is it a good deal in that sense I feel a bit lost.

You can always try Pearl's Place, since you already know the dress size you need and know the designer and have tried it on. Pearl's Place will send it to you in about 3 months and will give you a better price for a new dress. Call and you'll see what I mean. Lots of knotties have ordered from there and were 100 percent satisfied. I regret not ordering from Pearl's Place, because I could have saved a lot of money. Also, no taxes!!

yes, maam. I believe jagore also mentioned Peal Place at the gtg.

For example, I really really really wanted to get my "dream dress" which out here I was quoted $5,500; which is insane right? Well I called Pearl's Place and they quoted the dress for $3,000! Huge difference but unfortunately I still couldn't fit it into my budget and found my Maggie, which I still love. I really don't know why I didn't think of getting it at Pearl's Place. I guess I was just so excited and compared the price to the 3,000 dollar dress and well at the moment I didn't think and ordered it without thinking about other options.

Alright got it! I called Cruz's Bridal they have it for $200 some $$ less BUT with the supposed discount at Alfred Angelo and tax it comes to less...but now she's freaked me out of the fact I should order bigger yes it was tight and the zipper didn't go all the way up....but I've been kicking ass at the gym and will continue...I'll starve if I have to!

I would give Pearl's Place a call. As soon as you know the estimated date, call your seamstress and see about how long it will take to do the alterations. Reene did mine (and it was very time consuming) and had it done within two weeks.

AWWWWW thanks Vans...that is very encouraging you have no idea!!!!! I actually saw it too! When I went to DB way back then I was so shocked by the sizes I was trying on and NOW ....all I can do is SMILE!!!!

If you found the one and you really felt the sensation that that is it then don't go looking for another dresse. See if you can find that dress somewhere else that will ship it to you faster but whatever you do dont look at other dresses. it's only going to confuse you!

I got my bridesmaid an alfred angelo dress online for way less and it was delivered VERY quickly on some site like "best bridal prices" dot com. I googled the dress model number and found it. Did you try that?
