VENUE HELP!!!

Hello there,

I'm newly engaged and planning a weeding for November 2011.  I am looking for a venue that isn't too expensive for 125 people....I really want the ceremony and venue at the same location.  Any suggestions?  Please help...

I too wanted ceremony and reception at one place but loverboy wanted different.

Questions for you.... location location location.....santa monica? pasadena? orange county? Theme? formal ballgown in a hotel or vintage dress on the beach? Your budget will determine a lot.

My venue is pretty, inexpensive, and can host that many people.  Cabrillo Marina Plaza in San Pedro, CA but I assure you the website does it NO justice and you have to see it in person.  You can have your own vendors, bartenders, etc.

There are so many options.  I recommend that you start by looking at herecomestheguide.com first.  They have a pretty comprehensive list of venues in the LA/OC area.

Thanks Ladies!  It can get overwhelming!  I really wanted a one-stop shop (ceremony/reception) but I'm flexible.  I have a budget of $10k for the venue/food.  I'll check herecomestheguide.com now.  thanks!!!

My venue has a place for ceremony/reception and can accomodate the number of guests your expecting. They were the least expensive we found. It's the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. It has a gorgeous view and it's right up along the San Gabriel hills. I hope this helps and good luck.
