Hey!  What's your date?  You and I are having our reception in the same hall during the same month and we're both Florida brides.  Crazy.  Where in Florida are you?!  :)  Happy long distance planning!

    ::Jumping in!:: I'm also having my reception at The Club on 9/25/10. Maureen has been so helpful as well. I live in the Cleveland area, so it is a little easier for me to plan and give you girls lots of credit for planning from FL! Are you doing a cocktail hour? If so how are you doing it? We are thinking of holding it in the side room of of the main room.

    Yes, we are def having a cocktail hour. We think our wedding will be 100-115, so we are hoping to have the cocktail hour in the pub and the library, and maureen said we can put up a screen so no one can see the reception room until its time. What color are you doing? and wheres your ceremony? We like the club bc you really dont need a lot of decorating... so my invites are darker purple florish on ivory with other staionary to match, and most likely the girls are wearing sangria dresses from davids bridal (my girls are all over the country so that will be the easiest way), and our flowers will prob be shades of purple...

    I like the Club as well because the room kinda speaks for itself. I don't have to go crazy with spending time and money to buy decorations I'd probably never use again. Our colors are black-BM dresses and tuxes, cream, pale pink, and hints of lime green. The lime green will mostly show through in the flowers and paper products. We are expecting around 125-140 people. We were thinking about using the side room for the cocktail hour, but I like the idea of closing of the main room and just having it in the pub/library however, we may have too many people for that...I'll have to think about it.What is your email address? I'd like to ask you a few more questions and get your opinion on some things.
