pomander vs wand

So I decided I wanted our 2 flower girls to be fairies for the wedding Which my FMIL HATES!!!! lol So I'll try and give you ladies a mental vision what they will be wearing black leotards with black and red wings (which i got after halloween) and red converse shoes

something like the pic above. Initially I wanted the girls to carry red small pomander balls like

but now I'm thinking since they are going to be fairies maybe they should have flower wands like...

OR

Of course they would be red roses, just not sure  I also thought NO to halos and one rose in their head....

What do you ladies think?

I think that's an awesome idea!  Tell FMIL she can get married again and have her own traditional flower girls
