... I really hate the "Best man" he ruined my engagement party. made a little speech and told everyone (ALL MY FAMILY & friends & coworkers) secrets about me and made up lies.. and the whole time kept saying that someone needs to stop the wedding and that my Fi was making a mistake. I cried the entire night HE RUINED everything. It was horrible and I'm trying to make myself believe it was just a nightmare.. how am I going to face all of my family and friends and coworkers ever again?! It turned up to be the worst day of my life? I can't even stop crying or thinking about it.I just wish we could do a whole new party and forget the old one! It was the worst experience ever!

I am soooo sorry to heart that. Have you talked to your FI about the situation? How does he feel? Is there anyone at work that could possibly do some damage control for you?

I am still shocked about what he said. Did he try to be funny at it? Some ppl dont know that some things dont make appropriate jokes. If he still is a part of your wedding party make sure that you do not let him do another speech. He might want to have a repeat session.

Once again so sorry to hear that, but just be strong and keep your head up!

 OMG! I CANNOT BELIEVE SOMEONE DID THAT....IN PUBLIC! I'm truly stunned, I just cannot believe it. What an @ass! What the hell is him problem? I know there is some guys that like to kid around with their guy friends like "the ball in chain" or " WTF are you doing getting married so young" I mean stupid comments like that but to actually to do a speech publicly humiliate you is beyond wrong!!!!!

What does your FI say about this person (he is NOT a friend)? Was he drunk? Do you think he was joking and just took it to the next level without even knowing? Is this something he is known for?

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!!! Cry let it out, I would too. That is terrible. I would consider booting him off the wedding party, if he doesn't support you and your FI in your decision why keep him around.

I think both of you need to sit down and have a SERIOUS talk. If the in-laws dislike you so much & your family is supportive it just makes decisons harder but things need to be said before the BIG "I DO".

OMG!!! That's all I can say....This is toooo crazy! I'm so sorry all this is happening in your life. But you know what??? If I were you, I'd have my FI kick that BM out of the wedding party. Seriously, if someone can't back you up like that then I dont know.  My mouth is like dropped still. I can't believe someone would say such things in front of others, and worst, talk about other girls in front  of you. That is so immature and inappropriate. You have to seriously talk to you fi and kick him out.  Actually this had to come out from him that same moment. I would be scared of what can happen at the wedding. Oh nooo! YOu need to stop this before they ruin your whole wedding. So sorry. ::hugs::

WOW!! My if my FI's best man did that he would beat the living heck outta him. I am sorry that you had to go through that. Also like the other brides posted your family and friends know you, and they should see past all the bull. I am glad that you are feeling better. As for your co-workers, dont worry about what they think. If they are your friends they will NOT believe what he has said. Your FI did something about it right?
