New Format: Not really loving it. Slow!

Hi Ladies,

What do you think of the new format?  For me it takes FOREVER to load every single page on every computer I use!  Do have the same prob?

There are some cool things, but was just wondering what you ladies thought about it...

its alright! Yes it is slow and sometimes it wont load for me. But like you mentioned some cool things. I miss the old format

i really LOVED the old format. it was so easy to navigate, but i must admit that the search thingy and PIP is great.

I like the old format better.  Mine is really slow too and it deters me from even coming to tk because of it. 
I think that is why the board is slow as well.

Ditto! I agree with PP, i get lazy to come on tk because of the slowness...it just takes forever! I like the new features but the whole slowing down thing kills it. I also miss the old format...and I liked how it showed the date on the posts. =(

Same here....it takes forever to load so I'm not checking and posting as often.  It seems that it's taken me 5 minutes just to pull it up and reply to this post.

Yeah, I agree dawn:  I don't check it as much because it is going to take so dang long.  I used to just refresh & respond quickly here and there.  Ugh, I was hoping they would work this out, but no luck so far...

Oh Yeah, Vans, I thought about that the other day when I was looking at something and trying to see when the date was!  I miss that too. 

Also, I don't really care for the "recently active", it really doesn't make much sense to me.  Especially when you respond to a few posts and then your name is all over that section!!!

The new format is TERRIBLE!! Sooo slow and I dont like how it scrolls on the screen.  Also, I really dont like The Knot TV constantly playing....you should be able to shut if off (not just pause or mute it).

Bring back the old one!!

I don't like the new format either. Hence why I haven't been on the boards much either.

It does have some cool features, but the sloweness outweighs everything.

Agree with everyone else.  Not really loving this new format.  I hardly come on here because of it =/

Not loving it...

It takes FOREVER for it to load at work so I dont really even bother. By the time I get home, I wonder how much I have missed.

I dont feel so in tune since I dont really log on at work.
