NEEDED! Inexpensive Beach or Garden Wedding Venue!

Please help!

My Fiance and i would really love to get married in a beach or garden setting near the San Fernando Valley, however, we cannot afford most of the places we have found online...

We don't have much time, we want to get married on 10/10/10, so we need to secure a venue NOW!

So, if you know of a place that won't break the bank please let us know.

Thank You and Best of Luck Planning Your Wedding!

I am in the same position, although I do not have a time line. I am thinking of just making my wedding reception beach themed instead. ceneter pieces with sand and shells and candles, light colors, casual shoes and dress. beach themed invites and save the dates.

    How inexpensive is inexpensive?

The Long Beach Museum of Art is on the beach, but not close to the valley.

What do you know about the LB Museum of arts?

Um, I used to intern there! Years and years ago.

Someone on this board is/was getting married there. You have to use their onsite caterer/cafe. They are technically next to a beach and on a bluff overlooking the ocean. It's very pretty.

That place is gorgeous! But their catering services start at $90/person :( Are there other packages that are cheaper (but not advertised on their site)?

I'm not sure. :-( I don't even know if the events coordinator who was there 7 years ago is still there. Sometimes if you give a venue a budget, they'll work with you though!

I am getting married at the Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro.  It is beautiful and inexpensive.  I have some nice pictures.  But I am not sure if it fits the bill. It is overlooking the ocean and on grass so not sure but message me if you want some pics!

Inn of the Seventh Ray is booked for 10/10, though. I know, I checked last October. :-(

Im looking into the Inn of the Seventh Ray too, I use to live in Topaga, its beautiful and their site fees seem reasonable but its off set a but by their food prices.  Im waiting on a proposal from them, I expect it any day now!

Getting a place for 10/10/10 might be tough so late in the game - good luck, though!! I was so in your same boat in terms of trying to find a spot - not easy doing it budget and outdoor in LA.

I am also getting married at Cabrillo Marina - they are such a find! It's all diy - caterer, bar, even cleanup and set up- but they provide tables and chairs. There is an inside room that seats 120ish and a lawn and patio that is gorgeous. There is also a fountain area that I think we're using for the ceremony.
I have a ton of pics from when we went to look at it. Pm for the pics and more info. Good luck!!

I would love some more information on Cabrillo Marina. We don't have a date yet, just trying to figure out an affordable venue at this point. Being able to bring our own food and drinks would be amazing!

I'm getting married on Sept. 22 2012 - I live in the valley and looking for an outdoor venue that holds ceremony and reception.
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?  We're on a tight budget and need to have almost all (catering/drinks) included.

    Thank you!
