NWR: Dowtown LA Art Walk.

I was wondering if any of you ladies have been to the Art Walk in Downtown?

If so how was it?

Did you go for any specific purpose?

FI and I always pass by on our way home and always want to stop. I am currently looking for a picture of the Downtown Los Angeles skyline and wanted to look there to see if they had something I can use. Also if you have any recs. as to where I could get a good picture I would love to have them. TIA

I've almost gone twice now and then I haven't. Blah. Maybe because I don't like being out late on week nights, lol. Plus, I work in Sherman Oaks, so the best way for me to get downtown would be the metro rapid down Ventura to the Red Line to Pershing Square station, which would take an hour. It's fine, I've done it before. It just takes planning. I should really do it this summer, though.

The food trucks are pretty good looking. I know Border Grill truck is there a lot. Sometimes my photographer exhibits, too!

I always pass by and I want to stop but like you I don't like to be out late during the week. I get out of work late and something all I want to do is go home. Plus is so packed with ppl that parking and driving sucks. I really just want a nice picture and was hoping I could find one there.

I have been a few times.  It's cool if you are a lover of art.

If you can go when it first starts which is about noon or s you can avoid the after work crowd

Etsy is a nice place to purchase art from local artist you may find one who has something like that for you
