i can't decide whether i want a band or just a dj. FI and i are both musicians, so both of us have a hard time hiring a cheesy cover band... i'm thinking of a unique, maybe latin style band for the cocktail/1st hour, and dj the rest of the night.

any suggestions? i'm open to band ideas... but since im doing a dj, i guess just unique styled/specific genre bands  :).

    That sounds great! No suggestions because we didn't use a band, but we had a live piano player/singer for cocktail hour, then transitioned to the DJ.
