So ladies, if you remember a few weeks ago I was going to see if FI and I could get our money back with the yacht company that we placed a deposit with for our wedding.
Well, we got there right when they were closing yesterday but we were still able to speak to the guy that we had been dealing with.
We had to put in writing that we were releasing the date. I drafter a letter at work so FI and I signed it.
We turned it in the to guy. We explained everything. FI threw out there that if we could work something out in terms of the portion that they were keeping, perhaps if they can keep half.
He said he would talk to the owner on Mnday (since it was Friday evening and time to walk out the door for ALL of them) and he would see what he could do and let us know.
We are hoping and praying that we get our $ back.
I need knottie vibes that this will happen ladies so we can move forward planning our wedding and booking with a venue (and time) that we love.
