So Cal Wedding Venues with payment plans?!

Hello all,
Scouring through the world wide web, I can't seem to find any updated (post 2008+) blog posts, forum discussions, etc etc on wedding venues in the so cal area that accept payment plans.  As my fiancée and I were originally planning at May/June 2012 wedding date, a potential job offer may lead us to moving our wedding date to October of this year!! As you can imagine, this has put us in quite a bind, as we are thinking the venue we wanted may not work with payment plans especially since we were aimed at saving up for the 2012 wedding.  Now, that savings can not be made up if a wedding is to happen in 5 months.
We are a bit selfish as we don't want to cut down the 200 person guest list (big families, oy!), but will need to if any venues do offer payment plans with a smaller list.
The venue we are hoping to get was perfect, as the total cost was per person.  Food catering, chair, linens, tableware, drinks was all inclusive.
We felt it was much easier for us not to outsource vendors, and easier if we had to ask for payment plans/financing options from X amount of vendors.
Wedding Bees, we appreciate any and all help with venue listings that take payment plans!  Sorry if this sounds jumbled!  Listings in the LA, OC and if San Diego regions are what we are looking for!
THANK YOU!!!!

I'm not sure if this is something you may consider, but I'm having my reception on a yacht through www.electracruises.com .  You can have your wedding and reception on the yacht and they have huge yachts that accomadate over 200 people. Its all inclusive for the most part and you can add or take out things you may or may not want. They require $2000 down- I think. Or was it 20%? I don't remember. But I have been able to make payments and my wedding isn't until 7-7-2012. They are out in Neport Beach. Good luck finding your venue!

If you mean that you want payment plans to pay for your wedding AFTER the wedding has taken place in order for you to have your wedding sooner, I very much doubt any venue anywhwere would do that for you. It is too risky for someone to do that, and you would essentially be taking a loan from the venue.

Most venues offer payment plans leading up to your wedding with the final payments due within a week or a few days before the event. It sounds like you would need to keep your same date in 2012 if you need the time to be able to save the money.

And I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding your post in some way.

Also wanted to suggest you check out your local boards for venue suggestions.

I think the only way you'll be able to finance a wedding between now and next summer is through a private loan or credit card. However, most venues require a deposit now, another payment at some point between now and the wedding, and the final payment the week of the wedding. I think my final payment, which was 50% of the total bill was due 10 days before the wedding.

Another thing you could do would be to look at parks or community centers, then get a full service caterer who can bring in tables and linens for you.

ditto fashionx - I don't think there will be venues that accept payment plans after the wedding has taken place.

If you have looking for an unique venue with great food and decor, try the Taglyan Ballroom:

    They accept payment plans...good luck
