How to walk in tight mermaid style dress?

Hi all,
Does anyone have any advice as to how to walk in a tight mermaid style dress? I'm starting to freak out, and have nightmare about falling down (or taking an hour and a half to get down the aisle.... Any ideas?

    Best advice would be to walk slower than slow...and tiny steps. Is it really tight? GL

    Ha! Good question!  Do you have the dress at home?  I might try walking around the house (in a carpeted room only so your dress doesn't get dirty).  This way you can practice a little before going down the aisle.
