Just curious, do most people pay for their bridesmaids to get their hair and makeup done?

    I didn't, and they didn't get it done. They wanted to do their own instead of spending money on that. It wasn't a big deal to me.

    If you insist they get pro hair and makeup, you should pay for it.

    No I definitely don't insist on that.  They look great now.  I just didn't know if that was something they will expect me to do.

    So it is ok that I have someone in the room we are all getting ready in doing all of my makeup and hair and they are doing their own?

    Yup, that's why I did. I had my hair and makeup done, and so did my mom. I told them I wouldn't be able to pay for it, but I would let them know the cost if they were interested in doing it. They weren't. I think my hair and MUA got there ar 11 and my BMs showed up about noon, then changed and got ready as I was finishing up/getting read (hi, heavy dress took me longer, plus veil, plus shoes, etc). We were all ready to go by 1:30 or so.

    Ok awesome.  I am overly concerned with everything I guess.  I have never been in a wedding so maybe that is why I don't get it.  This sounds great though.  I will just let them know the cost :)

    I let my girls know that my hair and makeup girls were available if they were interested in having theirs done, but it wasn't a requirement.  

    I think it depends on what the fee is too
