Do you have their website?  When you Google it a few different websites pop up.

I checked out bella and the problem is it is hit or miss; you don't get to meet your photographer and, I feel, that since the photographer is working for somebody else they may not be giving it their all.  If they were a good photographer, wouldn't' they have their own business?'   I am actually waiting for my photos back from my photographer, Corbin Kell www.corbinkell.cc, but I know they will be amazing I just want to post a few images when I do.  Check out his work, his rates, and tell him Maria sent you as he gives a discount for referrals.

Just so you know, Bella Photography was just bought out by the company that runs Walmart and Sears Photo.  A large, national photography company is a good way for new photographers to get some weddings under their belt.  These new photographers not only aren't very experienced, but often don't have the best equipment.  You don't know what photographer you will end up with either.  I'd go for someone who owns their own business and shoots the weddings themselves, or has a small group of people they work with.  You will get much higher quality and better, one on one service.

There are a lot of great photographers out there, most whom are willing to travel.  My photographer was Unveiled Wedding Photography.  Although based in San Diego, they travel.  www.unveiledwedding.com.

Good luck with whomever you end up going with!

Oh, it's that Bella.  They haven't been mentioned here in a loooong time.  I do not recommend this company.  I remember one review where the couple went through with hiring them even though they couldn't meet their photographer beforehand and they said it was miserable to deal with them.  They also said the final product was subpar even though they paid quite a bit of money for their package.

My advice, hire someone local that you will get to meet.  Being able to build a relationship with your photographer before the event is key.  They get to know yours and your FIs personalities and how you guys photograph.  There are plenty of photog recommendations on this board.

We received a "bill" from them stating it was for the wedding of "Luke" and "Luke" although my Finance is clearly not marrying himself.
Seems like little effort is put into their work.

Bella is a national photography contractor.  What they do is they subcontract photgraphers in the local area who are willing to work for their prices(whom you don't get to meet and interview by the way), and then give you an inflated rate for the same service you could have gotten for less that half you contact a photographer yourself and interview them.

Check out the recommendations for photographers in the LA Knotties instead.

totally agreed.  I used them and I was sorry.  I hate my pictures and they refuse to admit they are blurry over exposed and not professional.
