Vendor Reviews!!

Hello ladies! Here are the reviews for my SoCal vendors for my 4/17 wedding:

NMG Photography: A++++++

My husband and I are thrilled with our pictures--Michael and Natalie really captured the magic of our wedding day for us. Not only are they incredibly talented photographers, but Michael and Natalie are such wonderful people to work with. They really put their hearts into their work to make sure their clients are happy. They also had some very special touches...I loved the slide show they created...we didn't have a videographer, but this was such a great way to share the photos of our day with friends and family in an emotional and memorable way. I've gotten so many compliments...we can't thank NMG enough!

Marylinn’s Bridal, Pasadena: A-

I went to Marylinn's in Pasadena, where I found The Dress. It was beautiful, and I was surprised the price was reasonable (sale price). My only concern was that I purchased the alterations package, for which they assured me all alterations were included. However, I was then charged $50 for bra cups...one of the alterations they originally had confirmed would be included. I have to say the alterations turned out beautifully, though, and I got so many compliments on my dress!

Our wedding was in Cincinnati, so will post the other reviews on that message board. Hope this helps!

    I also purchased my gown at Marylinn's and wasn't too pleased with their system. They're not clear about what's included and what isn't. I haven't seen my dress yet....but my first fitting is scheduled for July 31st! Very excited, but nervous about how much alterations will cost....do you suggest going elsewhere for alterations?

    Congrats on your dress, RachA03...that is so exciting!! I thought Marylinn's was pretty pricey at first, but a friend of mine had hers done at Alfred Angelo, and they ended up being just as much. I'm sure you could get them cheaper somewhere else, but I had no idea where else to go, and I wanted to make sure it was done right. Marylinn's did do a beautiful job with the alterations, though. I would just have them provide a written quote up front so you know what you'll have to pay.
