HONEYMOON!!! Suggestions?

Hi ladies!! I'm sooo excited right now..FI just had dinner with his dad for his bday and his dad wants to pay for our entire honeymoon and he said we can go anywhere we want!! He even suggested australia!! I'm soo excited since FI and I are doing this whole thing on our own...this is such a surprise!!
We werent even sure if we would be able to afford a honeymoon so we werent really thinking of anywhere to go.
Do any of you ladies have any suggestions?
How did you come to the decision of where to go??  I don't even know where to start.
We don't want to go to Hawaii only because FI has already been there [ i have not] we want to experience a new place together.

How long are you planning on going for?  If you have two weeks I would say definitely go to Australia or New Zealand.  It's a really long flight and I don't think one week would be enough.  If you have about a week, what about the Bahamas or another Caribbean island?  Just make sure you research about weather where ever you go. The east coast hurricane season is no joke.

If money were no object we'd have gone to Tokyo and done a little japanese tour.  Or we would have taken two weeks and done a mini European tour hitting up London, Rome, Venice and Florence.

The other choice would have been to go to South America - Chile and Argentina, where my family is from and the steak is yummmmmmmmyyy!!!

WOW - that is so awesome!  That is probably one of the best gifts ever.
Congratulations.  Wherever you decide I think it should be a place you and your FI go together for the first time - you guys will always have that as "your" place.

But for me I would look at Thailand, Europe or Fuji.

Those are all great suggestions.  Thanks, ladies!!
We have the option of 1 week or 2 so we can't decide if we want to go for a week and then have a week at our new home together just relaxing, of if we want to take 2 weeks for our HM.
Do any of you ladies know when hurricane season is?
we are kind of thinking of maybe Bora Bora.

    Congrats!!! So Lucky!!
Fiji, Bora Bora, Morea, not Tahiti too touristy.
I have wanted to go there for years. It's so pretty and you can get a hut out on the water with a glass floor so you can watch the fishies.

We did Fiji and it was absolutely amazing!  The people were the nicest people we've ever met and the staff at our resort really got to know us and even cried when we left.  It was so sweet.  The water is amazing if you are interested in scuba or snorkeling.  It was so relaxing and really away from anything that can disrupt you.  We got a honeymoon bure and it even had a private pool and outdoor shower.  just awesome.

Sorry Candee..I'm so rarely on here anymore.  We stayed at Wananavu Resort in the Raki Raki area.  It was amazing.  We booked through World of Diving.  They had great specials for scuba divers.  We went to Fiji for far cheaper than we could have done the same trip closer to home.
