Alterations...

So I'm going to Renee NO DOUBT in my mind...

Now how soon should I get my tush there? I'm trying to put it off as much as I can...since I still need to loose some more weight.

Is putting it off till July maybe even Aug smart? Sept 25th is the DAY!!!Laughing

This is what I'm going to ask to be done to the dress (unless she thinks otherwise):
-Hem
-Bustle
-Bra cups ....maybe?Undecided

**I'm also hoping she makes a lace bolero for me....but I don't know if getting the material will be tricky or if she'll even do it Undecided or if she'll tell me to call Alfred Angelo and have me get extra material to match the dress...this is where I'm scared of running out of time Undecided

What do you ladies think?

I would just give her a call because the bolero (if she's able to do it) will take time.  As for the alterations, she did mine in a week and it was more than you have to do.  She'll tell you when to come in.  Make it as close to the wedding date as possible though.  She finished mine three weeks before my date and I had lost weight the last couple of weeks and it was a bit big on top.

Yeah, definitely give her a call. I went for my first fitting and she told me the bra I had was all wrong (and she couldn't put in cups), so I needed to get a new undergarment before she could take it in.

This took an extra week before I could even come back to see her again with the right bra. I will be picking up my dress 2 weeks before the big day, because she will be out of town 1 week before.

So I would call her early and just see what she says!

Yes! I agree with PP, I'd call her and let her know what your dress needs and she'll tell you when its best to come in.  Mine took a few visits and I'm glad I went early. So yeah, call today!

The more extensive your alterations are, the more time you will need.  Even if you think you have plenty of time, going early buys you insurance in case something should happen(and believe me there will be plenty of those).
