It feels like ages since I have been on here, and I have missed talking to you all.

Things have been pretty hectic over here, and I've been spending most of my free time taking care of my mom,  so I haven't had time for knotting.

I want to know updates on everyone! I know some of your weddings are coming up next month. (quemiras!)

Any exciting news please tell... I need some good news in my life

Jagore- you always know how to make me laugh!!! That is pretty exciting. I have never eaten there before so I must try it sometime soon. I'm assuming it is a chicken joint? Is that where the next knottie gtg should be?

I'm doing ok... things are getting better now that my mom has finally started treatments. We find out in November if chemo worked.

What are you up to these days?

Yes next month can you believe it...time sure flies by!!!!

I'm just tying the last ends of things....its crunch time in every aspect of everything for me...weight loss, dress, DIY and vendors etc etc! Stressed, I'm breathing in and out a lot lately! lol

Hey Sweetie - I missed you too.  I'm still praying for mom - she will make it through just fine.  Remember love every day you have with her and lean on FI - he needs to know you need him too.

I still like logging on and seeing what everyone is doing.  My husband says I'm crazy, he's like "you know you can't get married again right?" 

I told him "well, some we'll have a huge annivesary party so we fan fix all the things you did wrong!"

Welcome back Ash! We've totally missed you! Hope you come to the boards more often...its really slow...we try our best to post anything that comes to mind. I hope everything is going good with your mom too. Take care.

Jen- I can't believe your wedding is so close! Keep on breathing, the time is gonna fly by with all the last minute things keeping you busy.

Dawn- thanks for the email you sent me about the cleaning service. I showed it to my mom. She was crazy enough to clean the whole house by herself the day after her first treatment and she made things worse for herself. I told her she shouldn't be cleaning, use the service!

Kaneika- next gtg I will have to bring more minis. I love making them for you all!!!

Vanessa- I will try and come on here more often... I've really missed the fun talks we have. I just needed to realize that time doesn't stop just because a loved one gets sick.
I shouldn't sit around the house being all mopey. It's a lesson to enjoy your life because you never know when it will end.

Meli- A gtg is definitely in order. I know some of you are planning the wedding dress shoot. I don't know yet how my schedule will be, but if I can, I will definitely be there... with cupcakes!!!

Thanks everyone so so much for all the prayers and positive thoughts. My mom has her good days and bad days, but she is seriously the strongest and bravest person I have ever met.  She still goes to work and does her gardening, just as she always would. She was losing so much of her hair everyday, so one day she said "f*ck cancer!" and went and got it all shaved off. And she still looks gorgeous!
I will be raising funds and doing a "Light the Night" walk for blood cancer awareness. We are debating either October 23rd in Santa Clarita or the one in Woodland Hills on November 6th. I don't know if any of you would like to participate in my group with me, but let me know if you would and I will give updated information as it goes along.
