Is this ok??? *Invite Question

My mom was invited to a wedding and I saw the RSVP Card that she has to send back.

It has a blank line for you to put the number of guests...

It states: # Of Invited Guests Attending
               # Of Invited Children Attending

When I read it, I didnt think much of it but is that ok to put or would you stick to the standard ____ Seats have been reserved in your Honor...

I stuck with "__ seats have been reserved in your honor" so that they knew who was invited if they didn't understand it from the envelope.  I guess either way is ok.

I think either way is okay.  They might be doing a kids table so they want to keep track of the kids.  For instance, If there's a family of 5 and there's only one "kid" [under age of 13] and 3 RSVP, they probably would like to know if the kid is going to prepare for them.

I think that I would send out the card saying "seats saved in your honor" and when tracking it myself, keep the number of guests and kids for catering reasons
