HELP! WEDDING RECEPTION IDEAS

Hi guys,
I've looked high and low, and I can't seem to find a wedding reception venue that I love.  I really like the vibe of vineyards, but they're all too far.  I'm in LA and the closest thing that I've loved is the Saddlerock ranch...BUT it's a 10000 site fee!!! Way too much.  I want an outdoor wedding somewhere that can accomodate 300 people.  ANDDDD to make things even more difficult, a 2 or 1 AM curfew. ahhhh HELP!!!!

    have you tried the la river center and gardens? the fee might be up there for 300 guests, but maybe worth a look?

    The LA River Center and Garden is a little on the expensive side considering all they provide is the site it's self and about 150 chairs. I checked it out for my wedding and I know that you can't go past 12am without being charged an extra fee . Also you have to go through their list vendors. But it a really beautiful venue!

    there was a vineyard in thoursand oaks/camarillo that a friend of mine got married at.  Is that too far?  I can get the info.  Private family home on a vineyard.  It was quite lovely!

    What about Upper Las Virgenes Open Space Preserve?  It is great and somewhat ranch feeling but with lots of open space and hills around.  I don't remember it being terribly expensive either.

    How about Calamigos Equestrian? I like Saddle Peak too! Are you having a huge wedding? I think it's $1000 site fee for the Garden Patio.

    Hi everybody!!!
    Thank you so much for all the responses! Seeing as how I'm kind of new to the knot, I literally just found my post!  I looked at most all those places, and loved them all.  I'm having a 300 person wedding (ahhhhhh) so some of them had to be ruled out.
    I think we have finally decided on Mountaingate country club~ You can do it outside, and fit everyone, AND have a 1 AM curfew!!
